Forever:
by Tara Levenhagen
Forever,
I'm trusting in You
Today and always,
I'm assured
You will see me
through
Walking with You,
My paths are directed
Ask and You will give, to me
anything
You said So just stay near,
it's all that I ask I need that love, the
only one that can last
Giving You my all, every last part Just know Jesus,
You
have my heart
Nothing harder than learning to receive I dream one day I will
With closed eyes I see
But images drown in my troubled waters
And the stinging
rescue bleeds from me
Distressed agony finds a home amidst raw defeat
Climbing
yet crawling still to the alter I come
Hard to tell what that flickering light
is breathing on me, if at all
Whispered forgiveness lingers on my shoulders
As
life confesses and surrenders I inhale ~ finding
Strength beside me
Nothing harder
than learning to receive
